She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy and Barbara Catherine Smith Eckard; her husband Bittle Oscar Rexrode; her son Douglas Eugene Dull Jr.; her siblings, William "Buck" Roy Eckard, Dorothy Jane Eckard Floyd, Sarah Katherine Eckard Fitzgerald, Sadie Belle Eckard Thorpe and Mary Janett Eckard; and her granddaughter Heather Nicole Dull.
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Dull Spitler; her great grandchild Brenlee Rose Harris; her nieces, Robin Kehoe and Brenda Swink; her close friends, Margaret Ralston, Judy Young and Vickie Wiseman; David Sheets. She is also survived by her four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
