It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Harold McPherson Jr. (Staunton, Virginia), born in Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on November 21, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Wanda W. McPherson; his children, Andy McPherson (Debbie) of Staunton, Kevin McPherson (Tracey) of New Hope, Tammy Collins of Vesuvius, Marion Rankin of Vesuvius and Cecila Klein (Steven) of Staunton; his stepchildren, Kevin Tanner (Samantha) and Kim Tanner; his sisters, Linda Killian of Staunton, Karen McPherson of Marlington, Joan VanDam of Greenville, Phyllis Seal of Brandywine, Sue Marcum of Mount Airy, Kay Marcum of Harrisonburg and Nancy Jo McPherson of Annapolis, Maryland; his grandchildren, Allen Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, Ricky McPherson, Jr., Pamela McPherson, Ashley Floyd, Matt McPherson, Andi Lynn McPherson, Brittany McPherson, Justine Shaver, Danielle McPherson, Hannah McPherson, Emily Klein and Addison Tanner; his nephew Brian Russell; and his son-in-law Cecila. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; many cousins and special pets.
