With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles H. Shomo of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles H. Shomo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hunter and Jessie Agnes Rosen Shomo; his wife Shirley Jane Supple Shomo; and his siblings, Joseph Shomo and Peggy Jean Shomo Joyner.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Hunter Shomo (Sally) and Tamera Lee Shomo Mason (John); his grandchildren, Justin Shomo (Cynthia), Bryan Shomo (Kelly), Elizabeth Harding, Wray Sherman (Ashley) and Hunter Shomo (Dana); and his great grandchildren, Margaret, Wyatt, Joseph, Weston, MacKenzie, Nola Shomo, Madison, Jase Harding, Kellen, Bryce Sherman, Ridge and Leddy Shomo. He is also survived by niece and three nephews.
