It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R. Obaugh Jr. of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray, Sr. and Virginia Kerlyn Baber Obaugh; and his brother Thomas "Tommy" Nelson Obaugh. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Jean Henley Obaugh; his son Eric Wesley Obaugh (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dylan and Colten; his stepdaughter Laura Ballengee (T. E.); his stepgranddaughters, Savannah and Lillian; his stepson Matthew Burnette (Amanda); and his stepgrandchildren, Julie Anna and Jackson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church (1512 Churchville Ave, Staunton, VA 24401).
