He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Callie Mae Fix Stephenson; his wife Charlotte Ann Smith Stephenson; his siblings, Wade Norris Stephenson, John Franklin Stephenson, Donnie Hankins Stephenson, John William Stephenson, Fred Anderson Stephenson, Bernice Fontaine Stone and Nola Mae Moran; and his daughter Tina Kay Stephenson.
He is survived by: his son Terry Stephenson (Donna); his grandchildren, Matthew Stephenson, Sr. (Hannah), Travis Wade, Tristan Sprouse, Sr. (Melody) and Ashley Sprouse (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Matthew Stephenson, Jr., Tristan Sprouse, Jr., Brianna Sprouse and Marleigh Miller; and his niece Vickie Moran. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
