She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Lee Hopkins and Louella Hopkins (Simmons); her former husband Lloyd J. Moore; her sister Janet Abshire; and her brothers-in-law, John Abshire and Harold G. Ramsuer.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah M. Walker (Roderick Clark) of Staunton; her sister Mary H. Ramsuer of Roanoke; her stepgranddaughter Tonya Williams; her son Jones of Richmond; her nephew Darryl Abshire (Renee) of Boones Mill, VA; her niece Linda Cruff (Danny) of Roanoke; her cousin Pat Wheeler of Lynchburg; her friend Patsy Morris of Greenville; and her family, Scott, Tara, Peyton, Grace, Joey Edwards of Richmond, JoeAnn, Lyn Day of Staunton, Rick, Wendy Ramsuer of Roanoke, Gerald, Cindy, MaryBeth Killian of Roanoke, Brenda Miller of Verona, Betty Hammer and Stephen Ritchie. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Doris would prefer that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Memorial Baptist Church, 224 Taylor Street, Staunton, Virginia 24401.
