It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest John Andrews of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Theresa "Tracy" Andrews; his grandson Josiah; his parents, Frederick Barnes Andrews and Theresa Tegen Andrews; his siblings, Fred Andrews Jr. (Marj) and Eunice Martin; and his nephews, Danny Andrews and Larry Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Andrews; his children, Karyn Andrews of Baton Rouge, LA, Nancy Williams of New Orleans, LA, Dan Ireland (Christi) of New York, NY and Jerry Ireland (Paula) of Virginia Beach, VA; his sister Caroline Andrews Mitchell (Richard); his grandchildren, Jacob Ireland, Alaina Ireland, Addison Ireland and Charis Ireland; and his nieces and nephews, Stefan Andrews, Allen Andrews, Jeffrey Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, Andy Mitchell, Marci Wihlquist and Karen Jenson. He is also survived by many loving friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place.Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
