She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Blevins and Nellie Blevins; her boyfriend Robert Sweet; and her siblings, Peggy Atkins (Charles) and Kenny Plummer.
She is survived by: her children, Alton "Junior" (Teresa Blackwell), Whitney Ashley (Brooke Bailey) and David "Tony" (Beth Wolfe, Jr.); her sisters, Dorothy Gillespie (Johnny) and Janie Catron; her grandchildren, Cody Cubbage (Jennifer) of Natalie Blackwell, Jackson and Lisa Wolfe; and her close friend Larry Foeresterling. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Staunton- Augusta Regional SPCA (P.O. Box 2014, Staunton, VA 24402) to help save the animals.
