He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Jackson Barkley and Nannie May Hanger Barkley; and his siblings, Margie Brooks, Ruth Hogshead, Rosalie Thomas, Ann Hemp and Graham Barkley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Barkley; and his daughters, Sherrie Galloway (Doug) and Andrea Lynn Barkley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. John's Fellowship Hall (1515 Arborhill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
