Gail Q. Sharp Obituary
The memory of Gail Q. Sharp (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Gail shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gail farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Lawrence, Sr. and Marion Lorraine Sykes Queeney; her stepson Richard Kevin Sharp; and her brother Garth Queeney. She is survived by: her husband Richard James Sharp; her son Shawn Samperi; her stepdaughters, Lisa Foss and Linda Sharp; her sister Jill Queeney McKinney; and her grandchildren, Alisa Foss, Joseph and Nicholas Samperi.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Presbyterian Church (1301 Red Top Orchard Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
