It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Keller Nelson of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gussie Keller and George W. Keller; her sister Pearl; her brother-in-law Milton Klotz; her nephew Richard Klotz; and her grandsons, Dustin Keller Nelson and David Painter.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Harrison Nelson; her children, Robert Nelson (Katie) of Craigsville, Joseph Nelson of Augusta County and Christina Lucas (Matthew) of Waynesboro; her grandchildren, Damion Nelson, Michael Bowen, Kayla Abshire, Sabrina Jenkins, Sebastian Nelson, Victoria Nelson, Alexandra Nelson and Sampson Lucas; her cousin Charles Shanner; her nephews, Jason and Kevin Nelson; and her close friend Pat Dauge. She is also survived by her numerous feline sidekicks, and one dog.
