He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey, Sr. and Elizabeth Lucille Showalter Harris; his wife Evelyn Marie Sheets Harris; and his siblings, George Dewey Harris, Jr., James Howard Harris, Charles Edward Harris and Patsy Lou Harris Montgomery.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Wayne Harris and Evelyn Marie Harris Farid; and his granddaughters, Tabitha Renee Harris, Rosey Farid and Ava Farid.
