She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Mason and Ethel Thomas Daugherty Moomau; her former husband Lyle Wilton Houser, Sr.; and her siblings, Franklin Delano Moomau, Hazel Daugherty Moomau Via, Mason Henry Moomau, Florence Jane Moomau Via, Wallace Bell Moomau, Sr., Leona Thomas Moomau Davis and Melvin Crawford Moomau.
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Wilton Houser, Jr. (Cheryl), Donald Ray Houser (Wanda) and Rebecca Darlene Houser Wood (JW); her fiancé Nancy Knott; her grandchildren, Adam Houser, Erik Houser, Dr. Kerri Houser (Rusty), Leigh Ann Gregory (Brandon), Daniel Houser (Courtney), Casey Houser (Charlie), Dr. Joseph Wood, Jr. (Hannah) and Joshua Wood; her great grandchildren, Madison Eavey, Addison, Ainsley Gregory, Deacon, Avery Houser, Alaina, Charles and Athena Riner; and her son Kenneth Wayne Houser. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church memorial fund (1512 Churchville Ave., Staunton, Virginia 24401).
