It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Breeden (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Guilford and Elizabeth Katherine Terry; her former husband Olen Bennett, Sr.; her husband John Breeden; her daughter Cynthia Breeden; and her siblings, Donald, Harold Terry, Susie Sheffer and Lorraine Glen.
She is survived by: her son Olen Bennett (Alisa); her granddaughter Alice Bennett Morris; her great grandchild Darrell Breeden (Nioka); her son David Leary (Olenia Bennett); her brother Ronnie Terry; Deborah Bennett and Kimberly Bennett. She is also survived by his wife; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
