He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Daniel and Dorothy Marie Kellum Wilkers; and his brother Daniel C. Wilkers. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Pauline Pittner Wilkers; his brother Gary C. Wilkers (family: Jean Claude Hatungimana); and his nieces and nephews, Abby and Glenn.
