He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Martin and Barbara Allen Hinkle Hensley; and his brothers, Jackie, Robert and Sonny Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Shyrl Dianne Paitsel Hensley; his son Scott Hensley; his grandchild Shyanne Hensley; and his sisters, Bobbie Joyce Lovejoy, Shirley Crawford (Ronnie) and Sally Dean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thornrose Cemetery (1041 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
