He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William, Sr. and Katherine Pauline Lightner Mullenax; and his brother Carl William Mullenax, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Beth Wayland Stanley Mullenax; his daughter Sheryl Ann Mullenax (Tony Reid); and his grandchildren, Barbara Darlene Reid (Josh Taylor), Lily Mae Reid and Wyatt Bryce Fields. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
