She was predeceased by: her parents, William Guy, Sr. and Viola May McLear Smiley; her husband Thomas James Grine; her sisters, Doris Jean Smiley Whitesell, Betty Ann Smiley Gay and Virginia Faye Smiley Harrah; and her half-siblings, William Guy Smiley, Jr. and Martha Eglentine Smiley Caldwell.
She is survived by: her daughter Krystal Dawn Zinkhan Goff (Harvey Lee, Jr.); her grandchildren, Kari, Matthew and Alyssa Goff (Jeff); and her stepgrandson Joshua Goff. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
