It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jayne Ward (Siron) Shifflett (Staunton, Virginia), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Lacy Vance Shifflett of Staunton; and her parents, Otis Ward Siron and Margaret McClung Siron Booth (Carroll). She is survived by: her children, Douglas Wayne Shifflett of Staunton, Tanya Lynn Mason (Shifflett) of Waynesboro and Bethany Jo Supinger (Shifflett) of Staunton; her sister Margaret Faye "Peggy" Peyton (Siron) of Churchville; her grandchildren, Holly E. Wilson, Caleb B. Scott, Faith G. Supinger, Hanna K. Shifflett and Joseph B. Supinger; and her great grandchildren, Haley G. Wilson, Tyler R. Booth and Elizabeth M. Booth.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sherando Community Church (2022 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477).
