He is survived by: his wife Melinda Sue Eavers Carpenter; his children, Kelley Brooks (Bucky), Scott Cline (Jane) and Haley Carpenter; his grandchildren, Aaron, Alyson Brooks and Clara Jo Cline; his brother Steven Cline (Vanessa); his in-laws, Cecil and Phyllis Juanita Eavers; and his pet Murphy.
