Though Jencie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jencie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Brownlee and Louise Brownlee; her husband James Cox Garner; and her brother Jerry Brownlee. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Patterson of Raleigh, NC and Matthew Brownlee Garner of Staunton, VA; and her daughters-in-law, Tracy Patterson and Laura Beth Garner. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Legacy Hospice in Jencie's memory.
