He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Marvin Jackson and Helen June Jackson McLear (Varner); his son Shawn Jackson; his sister Brenda Napier; and his brothers-in-law, Durwood Griffin and J. W. Painter.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Jackson (Griffin); his son Tame L. Jackson (Valerie) of Stuarts Draft; his grandson Ethen Jackson; his sister Debbie McGann (Randy) of Stuarts Draft; his mother-in-law Janet McNeill of Norfolk; his sister-in-law Hazel Partin (Harold) of Norfolk; his stepsister Melissa Stacey (Allen) of Steeles Tavern; his close friends, Vicky Stone, Mike Stone and Billy Stone; and his pets, Jo Mo and Peanut.
