He was predeceased by: his mother Linda G. Cook. He is survived by: his wife Myra Dean Cook; his daughters, Heather Lambert (John) and Katrina Brucia (Joe); his grandchildren, Kaylor and Braeton Lambert; and his aunt Barbara L. Guffey. He is also survived by his extended family, treasured friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
