He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Arneson (Krohn) and Henry Knute Arneson; his wife Meredith Arneson (Proctor); his brothers, Henry Knute Arneson, Jr. and James Edward Arneson; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Baker Proctor, Jr., John Mathew Proctor, Ruth Proctor (Carson), Lois Parker (Proctor), Melinda Proctor (Fox), Janet Arneson (Bernard), Sharon Arneson, Greta Arneson (Paulson) and James Parker.
He is survived by: his son Erik B. Arneson (Sandy); his daughter-in-law Cindie Arneson (Gest) of Staunton, Virginia; and his sister Candy Arneson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
