She was predeceased by: her spouse Glenn Allen Van Lear of Staunton; her parents, John Hudson Armstrong and Thelma Belle Armstrong (Morris); and her siblings, Kern, Carlton, Mason, Stanley, Bruce, Donnie, Kenneth Armstrong, Madeline Wills, Jean Halterman and Brenda Reid.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Van Lear of Staunton; her stepson Mark Van Lear (Dina) of Churchville; her brother Curtis Armstrong (Sandy); her grandchildren, Lauren Huck (Andrew) and Nicholas Roadcap; and her great grandchildren, Lily Huck, Declan Huck, Gunner Roadcap and Athena Roadcap.
