He is survived by: his wife Judith Bennett; his children, Karl Protil, Jr., Mark Protil, Timothy Protil and Allyson Langston; his children-in-law, Scott Langston, Jennifer Protil and Annette Protil; his siblings, Brigitta Katherine Sensabaugh and Manfred Protil; his grandchildren, Ben, Dalton Lunn, Emylee, Katherine, Karl Josef III, Caleb, Joshua Protil and Madilyn Langston; and his great grandchildren, Taylor and Emma. He is also survived by children, other surviving family members.
