He was predeceased by: his parents, Brown W. Robinson and Lela Robinson (Hardy); his former wife Becky Robinson; his son-in-law Greg Balsley; his brother B. W. Robinson; and his stepson Richard McGlothlin.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Jane Robinson of Staunton; his daughters, Pam Garten and Dania Balsley of Staunton; his grandchildren, Bryce Balsley, Krissi Byrd (Thomas), Tyler Balsley and Lela Garten (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Norah and Statler Byrd; his brother Dick Robinson (Sherrill) of Staunton; his sibling's children, Sarah Balsley and Richard Robinson; his stepdaughter-in-law Sharon McGlothlin; Betty Ingram.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Olivet Presbyterian Church (1019 Richmond Ave, Staunton, VA 24401). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Oaklawn Memory Gardens (1921 Shutterlee Mill Rd, Staunton, VA 24401).
