With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Eugene Mays of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Myrul Mays and Lillian Sponaugle Mays of Staunton, VA.; his brother George Mays; and his nephew George "Joey" Mays, III. He is survived by : his wife Wanda Mays; his son Billy Mays (Carrie); his grandchildren, Mason, Quinn Mays, Ryleigh and Knox Coffey; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Angus, Trish McKinney (Rick), Debbie Angus and Stephanie Quick.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
