He is survived by: his wife Diana Lee Gregory Fortune; his stepfather Drewery Baker Newcomb; his children, Brenda Holmes (Richard) and Scott Fortune (Tammy); his grandchildren, Allen Holmes (Amy), Philip Holmes (Kenny), Brandon Holmes (Tiffany), Todd Garrison (Emily) and Shannon Fortune (Kyle); and his stepdaughter Angela. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren.
