With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Janice Dore Dennis of Staunton, Virginia, born in Grand Junction, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Janice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Janice farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Dore and Hannah Dore. She is survived by: her husband Timothy (Tim) of Staunton, VA; and her sons, Matthew of Staunton and Steven of Waynesboro, VA.. She is also survived by nephew, two nieces and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jan's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Virginia located in Charlottesville, VA.
