He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Samuel and Elva O. Brocato (Wilhelm); his uncle Luther; his aunt Cindy Wilhelm; and his brother John Brocato.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua Brocato of Waynesboro and Amanda Lingenfelter (David) of Staunton; his grandson River Lingenfelter; and his siblings, Patrick "Pete" Brocato of Stuarts Draft and Sonja Bell (Jay) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (521 James Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
