He is survived by: his wife Edith Hoover; his sons, Michael Wayne Hoover, Jr. and Chris James Hoover; his grandchildren, Xzavier Hoover, Tasia Hoover, Chloe Sweet, Itali Hoover, McKenzie Hoover, Devon Jessen, Calla Hoover, Ashton Hoover, Gage Hoover and Aubrey Cimino (MeMe Hoover); and his brother Stephen Dale Hoover.
