She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Hawthorne and Peggy Carolyn Cline Powell. She is survived by: her children, Michael Berbes (Mary Lee) and Brigette Berbes; her siblings, Ronald Powell (Patty) and Lynn Talbott; and her close friends, Wayne Marshall and Nancy Huber.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens (3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
