With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ray Matthew Pitsenbarger of Staunton, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt Pitsenbarger and Rachel Vaiden Rexrode; his former wife Jerry Frances Pitsenbarger (Hash); his wife Joan Bridges Pitsenbarger (Clark); his brother Dennis Stover Pitsenbarger; and his grandson Michael Ray Pitsenbarger.
He is survived by: his sons, David A. Pitsenbarger (Kim) of Warner Robins, GA and Gary M. Pitsenbarger (Jennifer) of Staunton; his stepson Ricky Clark (Jane) of Homer, IL; his sisters, Thelma Jean Thompson of Maysville, WV and Wilma Rexrode of Franklin, WV; his pet Suzie; and his caregivers, Destynie Martz, Sarah Bennett and Shirley Hagerman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
