The passing of Richard Lee Koch of Staunton, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 24, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jean (Richardson) and Clarence Donald Koch; and his wife Harriet Koch (Lachman). He is survived by: his children, James Koch of Charlottesville and Alisa Brooks (Kevin) of Staunton; and his brother Mel Carter of California.
