He is survived by: his former wives, Carolyn Niess and Jane Niess; his children, Brooke Marrelli and Coulson Niess; his grandchildren, Bianca, Mauro, Adriana Marrelli and Mikaela Schartup; and his siblings, Robert Niess and Linda Tartak.
