It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert W. Brandt of Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Brandt (Bill) and Covie Brandt of Staunton. He is survived by: his children, John Brandt of Staunton and Monique Merriman (Jeff) of Richmond; his wife Gloria Mayhew Brandt; his brothers, Philip Brandt of Jonesborough, TN and Douglas Brandt (Katie) of Diamond Bar, CA; his granddaughters, Katie Pollock (Ryan) and Heather Thrasher (Randy); his great grandchildren, Quinn of Richmond, Parker of Richmond and Maddie of Richmond; and his siblings-in-law, Becky, Gale Pickford of Crozet and Doug Coleman of Swoope.
