We are sad to announce that, on July 12, 2025, at the age of 68, Robert Cameron Swadley of Staunton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dice and Doris Swadley (Siron). He is survived by: his son Edward Swadley of Harrisonburg; his sister Linda Fretwell of Fishersville; his grandchildren, Zayden and Nia Swadley; his aunts, Judy Waybright of Monterey and Geraldine Turner of Fishersville; his nephew Garrett Morris (Charissa) of Greenville; and his close friend Mike Fretwell of Staunton. He is also survived by his family, friends.
