Robert E. Mongold Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 9, 2021, at the age of 86, Robert E. Mongold of Staunton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Rebecca Grace Mongold (Pennington); his wife Jane Doris Mongold (Kosmecki); his son Gary Edward Mongold; and his siblings, Mary Louise Armstrong, Rebecca Cline, Charles William "Bill" Mongold, Jr. and Clarence Raymond Mongold.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Andrew Mongold (Kara) of Waynesboro and Nancy Anne Kelley (Timothy) of Staunton; his daughter-in-law Deborah Mongold of Harrisonburg; his sister Eugenia Bowers of Churchville; his grandchildren, Karl Phillip Mongold (Anna), Sarah Kristin Mongold, Garrett Andrew Mongold, Meghan Ashley Wright and Ella Rose Mongold; and his great grandchild Harper Kate Mongold. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
