He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Ray Knotts and Cornell Elizabeth Gooding Knotts; his son Curtis Andrew Knotts; and his siblings, Donald Knotts, Elizabeth Evans and Geraldine Auvil.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Joseph Valdez, Alaina Knotts Roane (Michael), Tessa Lynette Quesenberry (Jared) and Marla Knotts Snoddy (Chad); his brother Tim Knotts; and his grandchildren, Chase, Micayla, Carter, Sydney, Evelyn, Carolyn, Tucker, Cecelia and Lydia.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Baptist Church - Parsons (227 Water St, Parsons, WV 26287). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church (224 Taylor St, Staunton, VA 24401).
