He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorell Edgar and Sylvia Mae DeHart Weiss; his daughter Valerie Anne Weiss; and his sister Shirley Ann Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Lou Weiss; his daughter Cheryl Moffett (Lyle); his grandchildren, Dr. Rachel Moffett (Aidan O'Connor), Andrew, Sarah Moffett, Joseph and William Childress; Tom Childress.
