She is survived by: her children, Robert H. Ward of Harrisburg, PA, Elizabeth L. LaPointe of Staunton, VA and Sue Ann Armstrong (Larry) of Churchville, VA.; her grandchildren, Chris Armstrong (Stephanie) of Weyers Cave, VA, Rick LaPointe (Alison) of Hackettstown, NJ, Sean Armstrong (Jennifer) of Rockingham, VA, Katie Anderson (Mark) of Palmyra, PA and Christy Weaver (Jordan) of Camden, SC.; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Beau, Lauren Armstrong, Ashlynn, Easton Armstrong, Emily, Cole Weaver, Connor, Izzy Anderson and Leo LaPointe.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thornrose Cemetery (1041 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (214 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401).
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to Trinity Church's Noon Lunch ministry (PO Box 208, Staunton, VA 24401) or to the Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center (1001 Mt. Torrey Rd. Lyndhurst, VA 22952).
