She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edward and Nancy Odessa Earhart; her husband Llewellyn Kemper Burton, Jr.; and her siblings, Paul Hamilton Earhart and Barbara "Bobbie" Alice Earhart.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Llewellyn Burton Gibson (Tom); her stepdaughter Suzanne Burton Collier (Warren); her brother James Winston Earhart; her grandchildren, Kemper (Mandy) and Kayla Gibson Hostetter (Sonny); her great grandchildren, Rowen Hostetter, Lila and Liam Gibson; and her pets, Goldie and Angel.
