He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jane Cason (Byers); and his grandparents, Robert, Angelina Cason, Manley and Hazel Byers.
He is survived by: his father Harry C. "Tim" Cason; his brother Michael R. "Mickey" Cason of Staunton; his uncle Woodie Cason (Betty); his aunts, Helen Ramsey, Ruby Bratton and Doris Cason; and his close friends, Mary Seekford and Candi Smith.
