He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Konstantine and Pauline Bitsanis Vames; and his siblings, James Pete Vames and Jo Anne Vames Stamus. He is survived by: his wife Anastasia "Tessie" Kessaratos Vames; his sons, Pete Thomas Vames and Nicholas Frank Vames (Jaclyn); his grandson Alexander Vames; his brother Paul Pete Vames (Martha); and his nieces and nephews, Geoff, Christopher Vames, Angela Vames Sutton, Annette Stamus-Stull, Stephanie DeMaurice and Melanie Mandros. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
