She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lewis Doak and Leo May Doak (Taylor); her siblings, Clarence Jr., Houston, John, William, Frank and Mae E. Doak; her children, Cynthia Wayts and Ronald Patterson (Ronnie); her sons-in-law, Kenneth Wayts and David Christian; her grandchildren, Anthony Moats (Tony), James Patterson (J. J.) and Tiffany Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Jeremiah Patterson and Cy'amani Cotledge.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Taylor (Dawn), Billy Vaughn (Peggy), Johnnie Vaughn (Regina), Priscilla Arjoon (Raj), Kay Rohrer (Walter), Cheryl Christian, Elizabeth Vaughn (Roger Crawford), Catherine Evans (Aubrey) and Connie Thompson (Dwight). She is also survived by 34 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
