He was predeceased by: his father Willard Wayne Douglas; his wife Kathern Rose Douglas of Ozark, Illinois.; his mother Opal E. Sanders Douglas (Sanders); his siblings, Bobbie "Sonnie" Douglas, Muriel Maxine Douglas and Sharon Carlson; his grandchildren, Veneta Leonard (Jeremy) and Alana Merricks; and his great grandchild Mckayla Pavie.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Merricks (William), Greg Douglas (Becky), Bill Douglas (Vivian Kay), Barbara Staton (Robbie) and Darla Huff (Lou); his grandchildren, Jeff Merricks (Megan), Kimberley Adkins (Jason), Jill Pavie (Charlie), Chad Douglas (Kristen), Kayla Rushing (Matthew), Benjamin Douglas, Eric Douglas (Becca), Kara Staton, Caleb Douglas, Anshirley Corathers (Devin), Paul Huff and Katelyn Huff; his great grandchildren, Emma Rodriquez (Lucas) and Kerrigan Merricks; his grandchildren, Alana Douglas, Isabella Adkins, Nic Pavie, Myles Rushing, Max Rushing, Kaden Rushing, Colton Douglas, Ezra Corathers, Adalyn Douglas, Kristian Rushing, Peter "Mason" Leonard (Zaina), Noah Leonard, Jenna Leonard, Lauren Carlin (Cody), Logan Leonard (Taylor), Karter Leonard, Shayne Leonard, Rylee Leonard, Chloe Leonard, Lacey Leonard, Mary Leonard, Gabriel Leonard, Charlotte Leonard and Elliott Leonard; his great great grandchildren, Serenity Leonard, Owen Leonard, Silas Leonard, Amelia Leonard, River Leonard and Rhys Leonard; his sister LaVonne Marshall (Charles); his nibling Adrian Wolfe; and his great great grandchild Willard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
