He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Fred and Ruth Thanet Hinton Cupp; his son Jeremy Cupp; and his siblings, Jerry Lane Cupp and Dale Lynn Cupp.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Meyer Cupp; his children, Sarah Bistel and Matthew Cupp; his daughter-in-law Evelyn Cupp; his grandchildren, Summer, Hunter Bistel, Hailee and Andrew Cupp; and his close friend Ellis Fravel.
