He was predeceased by: his parents, George David Gardiner, Sr. and Gabrielle B. Gardiner (Budd); and his siblings, Marian Hall and Amos Gardiner. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae of George's County, MD; his son David Jonathan Gardiner (Tracy); his grandchildren, Camden Gardiner (Mary) and Lindsey Gardiner; his great grandchildren, Mabel Grace and Matilda June Gardiner; and his sister Gabriella Ethier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (1600 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
