She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph F. Kelly and Bessie M. Kelly; her daughter Karen Hartless (Rob); and her brother Robert "Bob" Kelly. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Makowsky, Jr.; and her daughters, Deb Reed (Terry) and Kelly Watson (Ron). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A reception was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Leo Catholic Church Cemetery (2019 Sulphur Springs Rd, Inwood, WV 25428). A burial was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the same location.
